One!Today is the day that I finally get to pick up Rosie. Here's another photo. I can't quite believe that I've bought a WHOLE CAR. I can't wait to see all the shiny bits and play with all the buttons. Yay!

Three!
Silver my tabbycat woke me up at 5.25am this morning, very loudly being sick on the sofa.
Not in itself a reason to be cheerful, you may be thinking. But when I walked through the kitchen I spotted Mr. Nuthatch at the feeder. He was a regular visitor last year but I hadn't seen him for a long long time. I love his eye make-up - he always reminds me of Adam and the Ants.
I'd love to hear your three reasons to be cheerful at the moment. Let's have 'em!

2. Sissy was especially cuddly today, she rarely lets me stroke her belly and today she wanted belly strokes all morning, and snuggled up with me in bed.
3. I have a new job...!
1. It's looking as though it will be a perfect day, weather-wise: not too hot, but very sunny.
2. The dress I made the other day turned out well, and I adore the (cheap!) fabric I made it from -- AND I can wear it today, since it'll be nice out.
3. My mom will be coming by this evening to use the electric trimmer to tidy up my shrubs (I can't be trusted to not go that little bit too far when trimming), and she'll bring over Holy Land for dinner.
1. It is Friday (meaning no office time on the weekend).
2. Taking a freshly finished quilt to the park for photos at lunchtime.
3. Family dinner tonight.
1. It is raining in Connecticut and though gloomy the ground is sweating up a sunny smell that reminds me of my childhood.
2. Tonight I am going to snuggle with my three little girls and play video games. To heck with the experts!
3. My husband planted roses last week, and this morning I noticed the bushes all have buds.
1. We are going to look for our new house this weekend!
2. Went thrift shopping and found some lovely blouses and pants for our road trip!
3. Got my haircut!
